Roko was entertaining, honest and knowledgeable. We were lucky as the tour consisted of only our family of 4 so we were able to cover lots of sights and have great conversations. Part of the reason we booked was for the cheese and truffle tasting and we were disappointed when the truffle shop was closed and the cheese tasting consisted of only one piece of cheese each. However, Roko encouraged us to try different wines and oils. Would recommend,

Roko is a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide! We had a wonderful time learning the history of Zadar mixed in with great humor. From the beginning of the tour, Roko took us to places we would never have know to go on our own. He was very generous with his time to answer questions and provide recommendations for restaurants and ice cream! The tastings were delicious and we did buy a couple of items that we were planning to purchase, but felt no pressure to do so. All in all, time well spent on a lovely afternoon in Zadar!

I took the Zadar walking tour on September 7th as a solo traveler, joining a small group of people. We had a fantastic time with our guide, Rocko, who was exceptionally friendly, approachable, and brought a great, engaging energy to the entire walk. Rocko made the history of Zadar come alive in such a captivating way, far from a dry list of dates, he shared fascinating stories and insights that kept us thoroughly interested from beginning to end. If you're visiting Zadar and want to discover the city with a passionate and knowledgeable local, I highly recommend taking this tour with Rocko.

This was our first ever food related walking tour and we loved it! Hajdi explained a good mix of historic facts and food tips, taking us around the main sights of Zadar (some of which we wouldn't have found by ourselves). The food tasters were great, and as others have mentioned, not pushy at all. It was also great to find out more about Croatian life from Hajdi. Strongly recommended!

Great way to get to know the old town of Zadar. Our guide, Roko, was excellent - very engaging, not too ‘heavy’ on the history, and pointed out lots of quirky and unusual little things that would otherwise be very easy to miss. The stops at the truffle and cheese shops were just enough to try some of the delicious product (including the local liqueurs) and absolutely no pressure to purchase (the idea being that you came back later yourself if you wanted to). Good value for money, and a very enjoyable walk around Zadar!

The tour itself was good - the guide was very knowledgeable about the many churches, historic buildings and cultural aspects. We did not see the Sea organ or light installation - supposed highlights - but we were able to rectify that ourselves. His english is very good only spoilt by the repeated use of swear words such as fu****g and once c**ts. Most english people would find these offensive especially if there were youngsters around. Perhaps someone could talk to him about it.
