Very informative! I learned a lot, not only about history, but about how the people "living it" felt about that history. The tunnels and "family cellar" gave me a whole new appreciation about how the city of Zagreb prepared for the raids as well. This tour is well worth taking.

We have done many different get your guide tours over the years but this was by far the best and most informative tour we have done. Luka has lived through the history and conflicts he talks about but is also able to present in a way that is not one sided. We highly recommend this tour with Luka .

Excellent and thought provoking tour, a must if you’re in Zagreb. Drako was fantastic, brought the 20th century history of Croatia to life with sensitivity, personal anecdotes and involved the small group in conversation also giving us time to reflect, Highly recommended.

Darko was an incredible guide, injecting humour throughout the tour for levity but never seeming glib or flippant about the seriousness of Croatias recent history. Found the last segment of the tour particularly moving, and I appreciated Darko’s tightrope act of injecting his own families experience into the tour whilst never being didactic. Not an easy feat, and neither is the ability to fit in such a huge amount of information into three hours whilst making it totally digestible. We learned a huge amount, and talked about it for hours after. Cannot recommend enough.

Absolut top.

The Zagreb city tour was way more than we expected and the way that the information was presented made you feel like you were reliving history. It was by far the best city tour we have ever been on. The recent history of Croatia (Hrvatske) is fascinating and heartbreaking all at once making you anxious to learn more.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this but Ivana was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. Her storytelling is a true talent - not only was the entire tour extremely engaging, but she covered topics that were extremely complex, controversial and emotional, painting a very clear picture of what happened, when, why, and everything in between. You can tell she is really passionate about what she does, and you’ll be lucky to have her as a guide
