This review is for the walking tour of Split as the Trogir element was cancelled and refunded. Our guide was excellent and engaging and the tour covered key parts of Split explaining the history and helping orienteer yourself in Split, also giving suggestions for other activities & restaurants

Anteo was an outstanding guide. Very relaxed and an excellent knowledge of his subject. He was able to answer all of the group’s questions with ease and the confidence of a man about to start his Masters degree in history! An excellent tour. Thank you.

Things started out a little late but overall, things went well. Our guides were professional and knowledgeable. My only major concern is trying to gather people together to start the tour, which was pretty confusing. Perhaps assigning a particular meeting place rather than just “meet at the Golden Gate” would be helpful as there are so many other tour operators and people trying to make their way.

The tour was nicely organized and our tour guide, Anteo, was patient and well educated, with exceptional English language skills. Our group was very large, larger than they planned on I think, and had to be split into two vans which made it a challenge for him to herd us through the various sights and keep everyone focused and on time. He had only been a tour guide for a month but you would never know it.

Our guide, Ivana, was AMAZING! She was knowledgeable (she grew up and still lives within the old part of the city so lots of history intermixed with personal life stories), considerate (stopped multiple times for bathroom beeaks and found places to quickly rest for our group of older adults) and funny (very blunt but humorous commentary on her home town). Also, she speaks English very well. Endearing accent. Would recommend 100%.

Mia was the most informed, professional, patient and funny guide I’ve ever had. Everyone commented on these attributes, I am simply memorializing them in print. If I knew Mia was always going to be my kind, I would take all of her tours. The timing and pace of the overall tour was user friendly. Couldn’t have hoped for a better way to start my adventure in Croatia. Many thanks🙏 Rodanthe

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer questions. He clearly explained each part of the trip and kept everyone to time. The only thing to improve the trip was to allow 2 hours free time on Trogir after his talk to allow more time to explore. A special mention also for the minibus driver. He gave us an excellent talk on the journey to Trogir about the development of Split and life before and after communism.

The best part of the tour was our tour guide, Ivana. She was very knowledgeable and had a good disposition. She was quick thinking when it came to getting us back to Split from Trogir in a timely manner (especially when there was a big soccer match in town). I recommend this tour if you want an overview of Split and Trogir with great historical perspective without entering all of the museums and churches. You need to do that on your own.
